Claridges has a loyal following. Hotel's old-fashioned charm is appreciable. The lobby is charming: one side has British Victorian decor; the other side evokes an Indian courtyard. The most popular rooms, slightly more expensive, are on the third floor and have balconies that overlook the pool.
