Located in a small obscure village that goes by the name of Pragpur in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh, Judge's Court is an opulent hotel. Constructed as a colonial mansion, the structure has been now been restored using traditional technologies and building materials. Pragpur has been recognized as a heritage village officially and a good place to watch the artisans in work. There are seven well-appointed rooms that go by the names of exotic Himalayan names. The décor is a harmonious if somewhat unusual blend of old, new and very new, the last named typified by the crystal chandeliers and wine glasses that came all the way from Italy.
